• Opposition Period: The trademark is open for opposition by third parties for a period of 2 months from the date of publication. During this time, anyone who believes the trademark infringes on their rights can file an opposition.

Step 5: Registration and Issuance of Certificate

• If no opposition is filed, or if any opposition is resolved in favor of the applicant, the trademark is registered.
• Trademark Certificate: Once registered, the applicant receives a certificate of registration from IPO-Pakistan, granting exclusive rights to use the trademark.
• Duration of Protection: A registered trademark is valid for 10 years from the date of filing, renewable indefinitely every 10 years.
